Welcoming New Clients and Colleagues from Martz Accountancy

You may notice some new faces at Ghirardo CPA over the coming weeks. Tom Martz, CPA, of Martz Accountancy Corporation in Novato has decided to wind down the active client-service portion of his practice. To ensure his clients continue to receive the same level of care, Tom has personally referred them to Ghirardo CPA, A Professional Corporation, effective May 1, 2026.

We're honored that Tom chose our firm for this referral, and we're looking forward to getting to know his clients. To make the transition as seamless as possible, three members of Tom's team — Connie Hansen, Deborah Fernandez, and Marifi Bumatay — are joining Ghirardo CPA as employees. Their experience and the relationships they've built with Tom's clients will be a real asset to our firm.

Tom himself will continue in independent practice through Martz Accountancy Corporation, and is looking forward to stepping back from the administrative side of running a firm. He'll remain available to Ghirardo CPA on an as-needed consulting basis, which means his decades of experience will still be accessible to us — and to the clients he's referred — going forward.
